Shashil Namoshi urged the government to resume the recruitment process

Expressing displeasure at the order of the state government to prevent all recruitment processes until the redevelopment of internal reservation is implemented, MLC Shashil ji Namoshi has urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to withdraw the order and resume the recruitment process.

The state cabinet on Thursday received the report of HN Nagamohan Das Commission on internal reservation among scheduled castes in the state, and the government decided to discuss the report at a special cabinet meeting on 16 August. Mr. Namoshi urged Mr. Siddaramaiah to implement it as soon as possible, as the Chief Minister implemented internal reservation for the current report.

Many vacant posts in many departments severely affected administrative work and development. Mr. Namoshi said that about 2,76,386 posts were vacant in various departments of the state, out of which 47,575 posts were vacant in Kalyan Karnataka region, he said.

“We doubt the government’s commitment in implementing internal reservation among the prescribed castes, and the government should clarify whether it intends to implement internal reservation or not” said Mr. Namoshi.
