NTR Collector G. Lakshmisha on Saturday interacted with people during the World Tribal Day celebrations at a government school in A Konduru.

NTR District Collector G. Laxmisha said that the total development of tribal people is important for the development of the state and the attainment of rich, healthy and happy Andhra Pradesh.

In the World Tribal Day celebrations, A. A. of NTR district by District Tribal Welfare Department. It was held at a government school in Konduru Mandal, on Saturday, Mr. Laxmisha said that under the P4 program, 86,000 ‘Bangaru Kutumbalu’ has been identified in the district, it is 20 percent in tribal areas.

The Collector said that the focus has been focused on the development of infrastructure in tribal areas, and the ashram schools are being established to provide quality education to tribal students. He promised the public that Krishna Pani would soon be supplied to the mandal through the Water Life Mission, in which many kidney diseases have been seen among the people. He said that a study is also going on to analyze the causes of these diseases.

Shri Laxmisha said that efforts are being made to make the district illegal-free as part of the ‘Navodam 2.0’ program of the state government.

Later, while representing the Thiruvuru assembly constituency, Colicapudi Srinivasa Rao urged the tribal youth to focus on education for a bright future. He said that tribals should use government welfare schemes for their development. He said that on August 22, a mega job fair would be held in Thiruvuru, and urged people to participate in it.

The program began with cultural performance by children. District Tribal Welfare Officer A. Vijayasanthi and other officials participated.
