On Saturday (August 9, 2025), the Election Commission reiterated that it has not received a single claim or objection from any political party about the draft of electoral rolls in Bihar.

“So far, since the introduction of claims and objections, no claim or objections have been made by any political party since the onset of claims and objections,” the ECI said.

The Special Intensive Amendment (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Bihar has provoked a political line, alleging that the amendment process may delete a large number of voters.
They are protesting in Parliament, seeking discussion on Bihar Sir since the beginning of this year’s monsoon session.
Earlier, Congress leader and leader of the leader (LOP) Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Thursday leveled serious allegations of “vote theft” against ECI. He alleged that the election is “choreograph”. While presenting the Congress’ research on voting in the Mahadevpura Assembly in Karnataka, Gandhi accused the “Vote Chori” (vote theft) of 1,00,250 votes.
At a press conference, Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress won other seats, while the BJP fielded Mahadevpura.
