Malignant forest fire spreads in southern France

One person has died and the other is missing after a large -scale wildfire flows in some parts of Southern France, forcing houses and forcing thousands of people to vacate.

The explosion occurred on Tuesday near the La Rebet village in the Oud region, and has already been burnt more than 13,000 hectares (50 square mi) – one area larger than Paris – this is the biggest forest fire in France this year.

At least 25 houses have been destroyed and more than 2,500 houses are without electricity.

More than 1,800 firefighters supported by 500 vehicles were deployed in the area.
