Trent Monsoon reports healthy revenue growth despite geopolitical disruption

Tata-owned Trent, despite the early beginning of monsoon and geopolitical disruptions, was well-known by Tata-owned Trent, although fashion portfolio was in less single digits like development during the June quarter.

Trent’s revenue increased by 9% to Rs 4,883 crore during the first quarter to Rs 4,883 crore. The Ebit margin for the quarter was 11%, unchanged compared to a year ago.


During the quarter, Trent opened just a new Westside Store to take Tally to 248 stores and added 11 jadio stores, which counted 766 doors of a large -scale brand, while it closes 10 Zudio stores.

“We focus on developing our differential consumer proposals that appeal to comprehensive audiences in diverse markets. Despite the ongoing competitive intensity and interim trends, we believe that it will be able to give us a significant value over time,” Trent limited,

The retailer said that its agenda is to run the access to material and revenue share in the major markets and is developing the quality of the store portfolio and consciously increasing the density of its presence in such markets. Given the intention of driving revenue share in major markets, it would be appropriate to carry forward revenue growth in comparative micro markets.


The company is also adding attendance to new cities in Tier 2/3 markets and many of these markets are still emerging in terms of adopting fashion trends and adopting the density of consumption. The revenue profile and development trajectory of shops in new markets may not be completely comparable to those in metro cities.

“We assume that the construction density of our presence in major markets allows us to close proximity and the ability to serve our customers easily. We live on track to build a large and to-to-Costomer business of a large and scalable net game in terms of market size and opportunity, Tata said that Tata continues to implement Trant’s playbook in his star business and now contribute to 70%.
